Google Quiz: Week 3

Students will create a Google Quiz over their Gospel Prezi's that their fellow students will take after their presenations.

Google Quiz Extra Credit!

Write a 5 question google quiz over your Gospel
One group member be the first to take Quiz (so you have the correct answers at the top)
One group member email link to Miss La Coy (llacoy@blmcchs.org) by Friday, 3.2
Go to Miss LaCoy’s Research Wiki -- take quizzes of the other Gospels by Monday, 3.5
Print out results and turn in to Miss La Coy by Wednesday, 3.7

How to Make a Google Quiz:

*one person in your group MUST have a Gmail account to make this work*
1) Sign into your Gmail account → click on Documents
2) Create -- Form
3) Title Your Quiz “Gospel of * X hour Quiz -- Justin Bieber, Katniss Everdean, Ryan Gosling
4) Double Click on “Sample Question 1” or on the pencil
a) Question 1: Last Name
b) Question 2: First Name
*Make both of these required questions
*Question Type: Text
5) Start typing in your questions

You can add questions by clicking on the +Add Item icon on the left at the top, or you can copy a question you’ve already created by clicking on the icon to the left of the trash can of any question you are editing.

6) Once you’re happy with your questions, you can personalize the form by changing the theme

Click on Theme: Plain in the upper left hand corner
Click on one and see if you like it
- If you do, click Apply
- If not, click Cancel

7) Send the form in an email

Click on Email this form in the upper right corner of the form
Enter my email address: llacoy@blmcchs.org

8) Have one group member take the quiz so you have the correct answers on the top
9) Print out the results and turn in to Miss La Coy in class Wednesday, 3.7

Additional Helpers:

While you’re building your form, you can check to see what it looks like.
At the bottom of your browser screen you’ll see: You can view the published form here → Click on the link
You can reorder the questions by clicking and dragging
If the questions need extra explanations, you can use the Help Text text box
After you close out of it it goes directly into the spreadsheet view -- to go back to the edit view:
Go to your Google Docs home page
Click on your form title in your list of documents – the spreadsheet will open
Click on Form – it’s just above the toolbar icons
Choose Edit form

Google Quiz Extra Credit!

Your print out of student's answers is due on Wednesday, March 7th. Your project will receive extra credit if you grade each students responses! Since you took the quiz first, use your answers as the answer key
Options to grade:
1) Print out & hand grade -- write the amount correct out of 5 next to their name
2) Add an additional column and correct each student's responses -- print out

Please take the quiz for each Gospel in your appropriate class. You may use your in class notes. All quizzes must be submitted by Monday, March 5th.
